First sixty seconds matter
Unplug USB keyboards immediately. On laptops, shut down, unplug power, and remove the battery if your model allows it—modern sealed units should still power off and disconnect chargers at once.

Let the device air dry at least 24–48 hours in a ventilated space. Silica gel helps but is not a substitute for time.

When to visit a service center
